I am directed by Mr. Secretary Eden to transmit herewith a letter addressed to you by Dr. Gordon King, formerly of the University of Hong Kong, which has been received through His Majesty's Embassy at Chungking.

2. It will be noted that Dr. Gordon King raises in this letter the question of the future of Hong Kong University medical students who have escaped to, and are continuing their studies in, Free China, and urges that this training in Free China may be recognised by the General Medical Council.
